KIDLINGTON ACADEMY 3 - 1 FROME TOWN

Kidlington Academy achieved their third consecutive SLFA victory in as many games as when they visited Frome Town on Wednesday winning by 3-1. In doing so they move in to second place and as of today share the lead with Sutton Coldfield on nine points who have a game in hand. This was a spirited performance by the Greens who found themselves

trailing 1-0 at half time only to turn things around in the second period as Kam King, Steven Soares and Joe Langdon all found the net. Both Soares and King have now scored in the last three matches which sees them tied at three each as leading Kidlington scorers. But the real surprise is that this three game unbeaten run has come about without captain and influential player Ellis Mathews who has been suspended after a red card in our first game at Sutton Coldfield. Mathews returns to the team this coming Wednesday when the Young Greens take on Rushall Olympic at Yarnton Road when they will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to four matches.
